WTAAA Names ACTA President Wendy Paradis Chair

The World Travel Agents Associations Alliance (WTAAA) has announced its newly elected Executive Committee.

Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) President Wendy Paradis will chair the leadership team. She will supported by vice chairs Paula Cortés (FOLATUR) and Dean Long (ATIA), Secretary Eric Drésin (ECTAA),Treasurer Hamza Rahmat (MATTA), and Executive Director Otto De Vries (ASATA).

Additionally, Mark Meader – senior vice president, industry affairs & education, American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) – will chair the Land & Sea Committee. Christian Möller will lead the Air Matters Committee. 

“I am confident that this diverse and experienced team will guide the WTAAA to new heights of influence and effectiveness,” said Paradis.

The WTAAA is an international non-profit trade association that supports and advocates for the global travel agency community. The association’s membership includes representatives from 57 countries on six continents across the globe.

“The WTAAA looks forward to a productive year and through our efforts, help to shape a more sustainable and agent-friendly future for the travel industry,” the WTAAA said in a statement.
