Oceania’s Cathy Denroche Announces Retirement

Long-time Oceania Cruises director Cathy Denroche is ready to embrace her next journey.

Denroche is the cruise line’s director of sales, Western Canada. She has spent the last 15 years with Oceania, often representing the brand as a keynote speaker at industry events – like TMR’s inaugural Travel Market Place Calgary in September.

Denroche plans to retire at the end of the year on Dec. 31.

Oceania Vice President, Field Sales Tricia Wolf announced the news in a statement sent out to industry partners.

“It is with mixed emotions that I write to you to share that our Cathy Denroche will be retiring at the end of the year,” Wolf said. “Cathy has decided that it’s time to move on to her next chapter, which I know will include plenty of family and friend time and traveling the world. I can’t wait to hear what other hobbies she takes up since she still has so much energy and passion for life.”

Oceania is currently searching for a new sales BDM to take over Denroche’s territory. Wolf said the cruise line hopes to have a new BDM in place by the New Year.

“Cathy has been a true brand ambassador and from day one in her entire professional career,” said Wolf. “We are extremely grateful for her dedication, hard work and creativity. Cathy is one of a kind and we will miss her.”
