United Airlines is launching the largest international expansion in its history with eight new nonstop flights from the U.S. as part of its 2025 schedule.

Five of the flights will leave from its hub at Newark Liberty International (EWR), including nonstops to Nuuk, Greenland; Palermo, Italy; Bilbao Spain; Madeira Island, Portugal; and Faro, Portugal.

The other three will leave from Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Washington D.C., including year-round service to Darak, Senegal; and season nonstops to Nice, France, and Venice, Italy, which will officially launch in the spring.

United says that its 2025 transatlantic schedule will now be the largest in its history with more than 760 weekly flights, which not only includes those new flights but also increased service to Venice, Athens, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, and more.

That includes making United the only U.S. airline to serve Mongolia, with a new seasonal nonstop from Tokyo Narita (NRT) that launches on May 1, and Senegal, with that new Darak flight. United says the Mongolia flight is coming as travel to the country is increasing—nearly half a million people visited the country so far in 2024, up 25% compared to last year.
