Regent Seven Seas Cruises has begun construction on its next new ship, Seven Seas Prestige, at the Fincantieri-Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy. The ship is the first in an all-new class of ship for RSSC.

Seven Seas Prestige will have one of the highest space-to-guest ratios with a gross tonnage of 77,000 and accommodating up to only 850 guests. It will introduce several new soon-to-be announced innovations, such as the reimagination of the palatial Regent Suite, new accommodation categories, new dining experiences, and more.

Set to be delivered in 2026, the ship will be the first of two Prestige Class ships, Regent’s first new shop class in 10 years.

“Seven Seas Prestige represents a new era for Regent Seven Seas Cruises…” said Andrea DeMarco, president of RSSC.

Along with DeMarco, the ceremony was attended by Harry Sommer, president & CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Ltd.; Patrik Dahlgren, executive vice president for vessel operations at NCLH; Francesco Semeraro, senior vice president of hotel operations for Regent Seven Seas Cruises; and others.
