Vacations By Rail, a tour operator offering independent and escorted train tours in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, launched a new program giving agents the opportunity to earn a higher starting commission.

Through the Preferred Program, agencies who book four or more vacations through Vacations By Rail will have starting commission rates increase from 10 to 12 percent, with the opportunity to earn up to 15 percent commission based on sales volume.

Qualifying agencies will also receive a series of benefits based on sales volume, including bonus commission, exclusive promotions, and the chance to experience new products. To help agents boost sales, Vacations By Rail is offering webinars on insider tips and the benefits of selling packaged rail travel, on Mar. 27 at 11 am or 3 pm CT.

“The travel agent community is extremely important to Vacations By Rail and are instrumental on educating clients on amazing rail experiences,” says Todd Powell, co-founder and chief executive officer. “We want to reward those agencies who are committed to Vacations By Rail and rail travel as a fantastic, experiential vacation option.”
