Riverside Luxury Cruises has launched an all-new online education platform and certification program for travel advisors. Advisors who complete the program and earn their certification will enjoy special travel advisor rates on FAMS. Those who complete the course by Jan. 31, 2025 will also receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

The six-part, multi-media course is designed to work with all levels of advisor river cruise experience. The course includes an overview of the brand and the company’s history, a primer on the cruise destinations that Riverside visits, details on the onboard experience including the culinary offerings and level of service, an introduction to the shore excursion program, and procedures for seamless booking of clients.

The course also provides proven marketing and sales strategies and techniques.

Short quizzes at the end of each module focus on the major points that make it easier to sell the cruises.

“Our unwavering commitment to our travel advisor partners is matched only by the unforgettable journey their clients will experience on a Riverside cruise,” said Jennifer Halboth, CEO of Riverside Collection Americas. “This program allows advisors to get quickly up to speed on Riverside’s offerings so they can feel confident selling our product. Short videos in each module allow them to go deeper, hearing from key crew members and taking virtual tours of the ships.”

Completing the course results in the agent becoming a certified Riverside specialist and gaining access to TA rates for FAMs. Once they start selling, advisors will begin earning the line’s generous 18% commission, paid monthly.
