Norwegian Cruise Line will add Port of Philadelphia (PhilaPort) as a home port starting in 2026.

This makes NCL the first to begin cruising out of Philadelphia after many years. The cruise line announced voyages from the new port city to Bermuda, Canada, and New England.

“We remain committed to delivering more experiences for our guests to create unforgettable memories, so they can vacation better with us,” said David J. Herrera, president of NCL. “We are particularly proud to partner with PhilaPort to launch cruising in the area, making it even more accessible to the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region.”

NCL’s first sailing out of PhilaPort will launch on April 26, 2026 aboard Norwegian Jewel for seven-to-nine-day trips to Bermuda. The City of Philadelphia and PhilaPort are working on plans to welcome cruisers to SouthPort Marine Terminal Complex.

“Philadelphia has so much to offer, as the birthplace of freedom and the home to much of our nation’s history, we look forward to connecting cruisers with our world class city,” said Jeff Theobald, executive director and CEO of PhilaPort. “This new service rounds out the portfolio of services offered at PhilaPort, and we look forward to this next phase of growth.”

After sailing to Bermuda from April through August, Norwegian Jewel will then sail 10-to-11-day voyages between Philadelphia and Quebec City, with stops in Saguenay, Charlottetown; Halifax, Canada; Bar Harbor, Maine; and Boston.
