The Standard, Singapore opened on Dec. 15, marking the brand’s fifth Asia Pacific property.

The new lifestyle hotel joins a few other recent Southeast Asia openings, including The Standard, Hua Hin in 2021 and The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon in 2022. It brings The Standard‘s global portfolio to about a dozen hotels, with more expected to open in Brussels, Dublin, and Pattaya, as the brand is also buttoning up its acquisition by Hyatt this year.

The Standard, Singapore’s 143 rooms have views of the city skyline and lush greenery, as it is just steps from the Botanic Gardens and Orchard Road. The hotel offers a rooftop pool, serene garden area, several restaurants and bars, and the brand’s signature nightlife experiences.

For dining, Kaya at The Standard serves Japanese-inspired cuisine made with local ingredients. The adjacent Kaya Bar is the center of the hotel’s nightlife. Cafe Standard has an all-day menu of American fare, wines, and craft beer.
