Five ‘Can’t Miss’ Luxury Trips from Canadian Affluent Traveler Collection Advisors
Affluent travellers are seeking bucket-list destinations this year.

With upscale travellers contemplating journeys for the new year ahead, the advisors at invitation-only luxury marketing group The Affluent Traveler Collection are offering “trip of a lifetime” suggestions for 2025.

A recent survey of ATC-affiliated advisors found bucket-list travel is the leading emerging trend for 2025, with personalized experiences and authentic travel rounding out the top three. Upscale travellers are highly motivated to explore new places and cultures, and luxury travel as a segment continues to see strong growth – it’s a $1.38 trillion industry growing by 7.9% a year, according to Grand View Research.

Here are five must-do trips for 2025 from select Canadian ATC advisors:

“A luxury Mediterranean voyage aboard Explora Journeys is a must-do, offering an unparalleled blend of elegance, adventure, and relaxation. Start your day with yoga on deck, then embark on curated excursions like truffle hunting in Provence or exploring Santorini’s volcanic vineyards. This journey is the perfect harmony of culture, exploration, and luxury.”

Leo Sgovio, President, Markham Cruise and Travel

“Take a spectacular river cruise through Vietnam and Cambodia. Enhance the journey with an optional land tour from the cruise line to fully immerse yourself in the wonders of Angkor Wat, Hanoi, and Ha Long Bay. For a splurge, consider adjusting your business class flights to include an exhilarating city stop in Tokyo on the way there, followed by a serene beach escape in Thailand on your return.”

Faith Sproule, Owner, Niche Travel Group

“Experience an unforgettable four-night stay in Egypt, featuring accommodations in luxurious five-star hotels. Immerse yourself in guided tours of the country’s most iconic landmarks, including the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Memphis, and Sakkara. This is the ultimate adventure through Egypt’s rich history and culture!”

The Scenic Eclipse.

Claudine Dorval, President, Voyage Récréatif

“Enjoy an expedition yacht with private helicopters and submarines for unique explorations aboard Scenic Eclipse. Explore remote and wild regions like Antarctica, the Arctic, or the Galápagos Islands. These expeditions aboard luxurious icebreakers combine pristine landscape exploration with high-end services such as saunas and Michelin-starred chefs.”

Samir Daoud, Agent, Voyage Vasco Longueuil

“Head to Rome and stay at a stunning retreat in the heart of the city. Next, embark on a luxury train trip for a three-day, two-night journey in a suite cabin. The route takes you through the enchanting cities of Venice and Portofino before returning to Rome, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience of elegance, breathtaking views, and Italian charm.”
