Hilton is expanding its luxury brands to new destinations with three notable signings just announced last month.

The hotel company will bring Conrad Hotels & Resorts to Los Cabos in 2027, Waldorf Astoria to Bahrain in 2028, and LXR Hotels & Resorts to Hiroshima in 2028.

Dino Michael, senior vice president and global category head of Hilton Luxury Brands, said in an email to TMR that the company “is working very intentionally on the growth of our luxury portfolio across impactful and emerging destinations.”

“This expansion underscores our commitment to providing discerning travelers with opportunities to have a best-in-class hotel experience in exciting cities around the globe,” he added.

Conrad Los Cabos

Conrad Hotels & Resorts will make its Baja California Sur debut with the opening of Conrad Los Cabos in 2027. It will add to other luxury Mexico openings in recent years: Conrad Punta de Mita and Conrad Tulum. The resort will have 111 guest rooms, 21 suites, and 43 Conrad Residences. The resort will be located within OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf, a brand-new oceanfront resort community.

Conrad Los Cabos will also feature a 3,000-square-foot spa with 10 treatment rooms, a fitness center, a bridal suite with full-service salon, and a Teen and Kids Club. Outdoors, there will be several pools, lawns, and decks. The resort will also offer five dining venues.

Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay

Last month, Hilton announced a signing to develop Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay. The hotel will be located next to The Avenues – Bahrain, a waterfront retail and entertainment district. It is also near Bahrain Financial Harbour, the country’s main commercial district, and highways that connect Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.

Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay will feature 120 rooms and apartments. Each guest will have an assigned Personal Concierge that will tend to the finer details of their stay. The hotel will offer a brasserie, a specialty rooftop bar and the brand’s signature Peacock Alley. There will also be a spa, two pools, a fitness center, and three meeting rooms fitted with the latest technology.

Miyajimaguchi LXR Hotels & Resorts

As the LXR brand’s second Japan property, and first in Hiroshima, Miyajimaguchi LXR Hotels & Resorts will offer luxury hospitality to an increasingly popular tourist destination. The hotel, slated to open in 2028, will feature 60 rooms, including an exclusive villa. There will also be a variety of restaurants, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a spa.
