Celestyal Cruises is bolstering its North American sales team with four new hires—two business development managers (BDMs) and two key account managers.

All four will serve under Brandon Townsley, vice president and managing director of North America, who just celebrated his first anniversary with Celestyal. The new hires are:

  • Rusty Fletcher, joining as BDM for the South Central U.S. Fletcher has spent the last ten years working as a travel advisor in Texas and previously worked selling future cruises onboard for Carnival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line. He also served as a strategic account manager for Royal Caribbean.
  • Marc Leventhal, joining as BDM for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Leventhal has more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry, including roles with Hurtigruten, Royal Caribbean, Contiki/Insight, and Kuoni.
  • Natalie Papoutsoglou, joining as Key Account Manager. Most recently, she served as Manager of National Accounts for North America and Canada at Princess and previously worked as a BDM for Princess, Cunard, and Carnival Cruise Line.
  • Will Wegner, also joining as a Key Account Manager. Wegner previously worked as a BDM for Collette and as Executive Director of Strategic Business Development for International Cruise & Excursion.

Most recently, Celestyal introduced a new travel trade tool highlighting the earning opportunities available to advisors when pre-booking onboard amenities for guests.

The guide, available as a download from Celestyal’s dedicated trade portal, outlines the variety of opportunities for advisors to earn commissions on drink packages, shore excursions, and fare upgrades if booked pre-departure.
