Celestyal Cruises Reveals New Ship Details

When Celestyal Journey debuts this September, it will feature the line’s first penthouse suite, 280% more balcony suites, seven dining venues, two pools, and eight bars and lounges.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for Celestyal, and we are looking forward to working closely with our trade partners to highlight our much-elevated onboard product alongside our renowned brand proposition of destination-rich, immersive travel experiences,” said Lee Haslett, Celestyal CCO.

“Our goal is to immerse our agent and operator partners in the Celestyal Journey via in-person ship visits, fam trips, and training to expand their product knowledge and truly benefit their customers.”

Accommodations
Celestyal Journey will offer 630 “Dream Suites” and “Cosmos Cabins,” so called because they “are designed as a sanctuary to unwind and relax.” Overall, the ship will feature 80% outside cabins, with 55% exterior Cosmos Cabins.

A first for the line will be the Stargazer Suite, the line’s first premium luxury offering.

Balcony cabins will comprise 120 Junior Dream Suites and 28 Grand Dream Suites. Dream Suite guests will have access to Celestyal’s concierge service, which features dedicated priority check-in, expedited embarkation, and express luggage delivery including assistance with unpacking. A dedicated concierge will be available in the exclusive-use Compass Lounge to assist Grand Suite guests with tailored service requests.

Food & Beverage
Seven dining venues will be available including Fig & Honey for Greek food; Smoked Olive for a Mediterranean menu; Grill Seekers, where everything is grilled; and Pink Moon for an Asian-inspired menu.

Cruisers will also be able to learn from onboard chefs in the cooking demonstration area or go all out with a private dining experience at the line’s new Chef’s Table.

For drinks, cruisers can stargaze with Champagne and cocktails at Fizz Club, try Old and New World varietals at The Grapevine Wine Cellar, or relax with mellow piano tunes at the Blue Bar & Lounge.

Wellness
Celestyal Journey will embrace the Greek custom of Sozo – an ancient Greek tradition of wellness of mind, body, and spirit – with an entire deck dedicated to wellness. The deck will feature a full gym with a wide range of equipment, tennis and basketball courts, and a jogging track. The Dream Den relaxation space will include a sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, and the Sozo Spa will offer a variety of treatments and Glow Bar for hair and makeup.

The ship will also feature several expansive sundecks with two pools – one with retractable roof – and Jacuzzi, with one deck reserved for suite guests. The Beach Club, available only to Dream Suite guests, will be a secluded outdoor area with ice cream stations and a juice corner.

Entertainment & Kids
Entertainment options onboard Celestyal Journey will include The Amphitheatro show lounge that spans two decks, live music throughout the ship, lectures, and more.

For the first time, Celestyal will offer a Kids Club with a range of activities for younger cruisers, as well as an arcade.

Celestyal Journey sets sail September 2 with the line’s popular “Idyllic Aegean” itinerary.
