Silversea Cruises is building a hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile to serve as a pre-hotel for cruisers taking advantage of the line’s Antarctica Bridge Fly/Cruise offering.

The new 150-room hotel will be built in partnership with a consortium of Chilean investors with completion scheduled for the end of 2025.

“As we continue to push the boundaries on the ultimate vacation experience for our guests, this new hotel allows us to offer an unmatched Antarctica expedition…” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group.

According to the company, the hotel will “facilitate a uniquely frictionless journey” that allows guests to “enjoy Silversea’s personalized service” throughout their voyage to Antarctica.

The hotel, which will overlook the Beagle Channel, will feature views of the Patagonian mountains. Amenities will include a restaurant, bar and lounge, fitness center, and gift shop with handicrafts by local artisans.

Silversea is the only cruise line that homeports from Puerto Williams during the Antarctica season.
