Virgin Voyages and Princess Cruises both saw their highest post-Thanksgiving sales ever.

Virgin Voyages

Virgin shattered its previous milestones with this year’s Black Friday “marking the single highest booking day” in company history. Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday also saw Virgin reporting triple-digit increases across the board, including a more than 300% increase in revenue from 2023, and a 300+% increase in bookings compared to this period last year.

In addition to these milestones, the brand is experiencing a more than 60% increase in overall revenue growth vs. 2023, with 2025 projected to be up 50% again on 2024’s performance.

“We are so grateful for the support that we’re seeing from our loyal customers and travel advisor community… Breaking records would not have been possible without our First Mates [travel advisors], and we’re as committed to them as they are to us,” said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages.

Princess Cruises

Princess, on the other hand, reported record-breaking bookings over the four-day period covering the Black Friday through Cyber Monday period. Bookings increased 32% over the same period in 2023.

Cyber Monday, in particular, shattered expectations, with bookings surging 136% compared to the prior year.

Bookings were strong for both 2025 and 2026 sailings, though bookings for 2026 itineraries were up 66% compared to bookings for 2025 voyages made during the same period in 2023.

“The overwhelming response from our guests and worldwide strength of our brand reflects the growing enthusiasm for cruise travel… ” said Gus Antorcha, president of Princess Cruises. “With the strong demand in this period for both 2025 and 2026 voyages, it’s clear our guests are planning further ahead than ever before…”
