Orient Express has revealed the design and interiors for its first Orient Express yacht, which is set to debut in June 2026, sailing the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Caribbean seas.

“With Orient Express Corinthian, the Orient Express legend is now preparing to sail the world’s finest seas offering an unprecedented experience of travel and adventure,” said Sebastien Bazin, Accor Group chairman and CEO. “Drawing inspiration from the golden age of luxury cruises, the yacht reinvents movement and comfort on the water and is designed to meet the sustainability challenges of the future.”

Under construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique, Orient Express Corinthian will be the world’s largest sailing yacht spanning 721 feet and sporting nearly 49,000 square feet of sails. Just using wind, the ship will be able to reach a speed of 17 knots.

The yacht will feature 54 suites, measuring between 484 and 2,475 square feet (45 to 230 square meters), 48 of which are located on decks 4,5, and 6, while six premium class sites will be on deck 7. All will have panoramic bay windows and will be decorated with wood, leather, and marble.

“All the suites and the entire design of the yacht have been conceived as unique spaces that break the boundaries of Orient Express’s classic decorative grammar, while remaining true to its very particular codes,” said architect Maxime d’Angeac, artistic director of Orient Express.

The yacht will boast five restaurants and eight bars, including a 1930s-style speakeasy, as well as a 115-seat cabaret with Parisian atmosphere, a recording studio, a cinema, and a spa.

The marina at the aft of the yacht will offer sea activities, while a 54-foot (16.6 meter) swimming pool will be perfect for those who want to do laps.
