A new luxury resort has opened on the coveted shores of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos.

The Strand Turks & Caicos, part of the Leading Hotels of the World collection, held a grand opening celebration on Nov. 20 and is now welcoming guests to stay in its luxury suites and multi-bedroom villas, alongside its private residences.

“The resort is designed to offer not just luxurious amenities but also immersive, thoughtfully curated experiences that resonate with our guests,” said John Fair, managing director of The Strand. “We’ve crafted our programs and facilities to encourage exploration of nature’s playground and to take advantage of the warm, inviting waters of the Caicos Banks.

“Our hope is that guests leave with lasting memories and a deep sense of connection, both to each other and to this remarkable place,” he added.

The Strand, set on Cooper Jack Bay in Providenciales, boasts accommodations with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening out to ocean views, lush terraces, and hand-crafted infinity pools.

Notably, the resort features The DelMar, an upscale restaurant, bar, and beach club with a beachfront patio and cabana seating. From fresh seafood to prime steaks, all wood-fire grilled or smoked in-house, the menu blends Asian, Latin American, and Mediterranean flavors.

Guests can enjoy the accessible beach, tennis and pickleball courts, water sports, and a marina. By next year, The Strand will also offer a full-service spa and kids’ club. Also, The Club at The Strand offers a la carte services including butlers, private chefs, special culinary events, and more.

The Strand is located 10 minutes from Providenciales International Airport and 15 minutes from the famous Grace Bay Beaches and shopping area.
