MasterAdvisor 70: How to Build Your Expedition Cruise Base

by Daniel McCarthy / May 05, 2023

Expedition cruises can be a highly profitable niche for travel advisors. Its price point and the care and attention clients need make it an excellent choice for advisors looking for a specialization. But a lot of clients struggle with finding clients who they think are a good fit for the segment.

Brownell Travel Advisors and M&L Travel Co-Owners Michael Gaughen and Lilly Lyn, joined TMR this week to talk about how they first fell in love with expedition cruising and then found success selling the segment both to new clients and current clients who had yet to experience it. During the episode, Gaughen and Lyn touch on how high the demand is for the segment, the typical booking pattern, and what clients are good fit for expedition cruising.
