Margaritaville at Sea’s Paradise Undergoes Multimillion Dollar Refurbishment

Margaritaville at Sea’s Paradise Undergoes Multimillion Dollar Refurbishment

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, the only ship from that at-sea branch of the Margaritaville brand, is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar refurbishment that will see the vessel receive new venues, entertainment, and dining.

Among the new spaces onboard will be Paradise Pickleball at Sea, located on the ship’s forward deck. The space will include a regulation-sized Pickleball court and an outdoor lounge space, where cruisers can watch others play.

Also new will be the Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar, where cruisers can build their own fresh all-beef burger creations at no extra cost.

“We’ve been listening to our friends and fans and have invested in the kinds of new offerings passengers said will best enhance their sailing experience,” said Kevin Sheehan, Jr., president and CEO of Margaritaville at Sea. “The venues we’ve added and enhancements we’ve made are going to take our experience to the next level and will surprise and delight new guests and returning cruisers alike.”

New entertainment will include the Keys on the Water Dueling Piano Bar, as well as two new theater shows: Caribbean Heat and Radio Margaritaville: LIVE! At Sea. The latter production show is named after one of Sirius XM’s most popular stations and will feature live bands, artists, collaborations and musical storytelling.

Other additions and enhancements will include:

Fins Up! Fitness Center – Powered by Echelon Fitness, the reimagined fitness center will feature a range of fitness experiences, including Touch Smart Fitness Mirrors for an immersive yoga experience at sea, as well as connected bikes, rowing equipment, and more.

In-Suite Fitness – All suite cabins will also be outfitted with Touch Smart Fitness Mirrors for a private, personalized in-cabin fitness experience.

Fin City Arcade – Perfect everyone who loves a good arcade game, this new space will feature all the latest in video game fun.

Updated Cabins – The soft goods in every one of the ship’s 658 cabins will be updated during the refurbishment.

Jolly Moon Kid’s Club (ages 3-6) and Parakeets Kid’s Club (ages 7-12) – These two completely refreshed Kid’s Club options will provide kids with a vareitey of games, arts and crafts, shows, tours, and more.

Hemisphere Nightclub – The ship’s nightclub will also get a refresh, including an all-new cocktail menu, bottle service, and addition of a live DJ.

Fins Dining – In the ship’s main dining room, cruisers will discover a revamped and expanded menu featuring new island-inspired dishes, selection of cocktails and wines, and desserts made from scratch like the signature Margaritaville at Sea Key Lime Sponge Cake.

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise returns to sailing on June 2.

Shoreside Fun
In addition to the new onboard experiences, Margaritaville at Sea is expanding its onshore excursions in Grand Bahama, adding two new options: the Ultimate Party Boat and the Snorkeling Experience and Grand Bahama Cycling Adventure.

The cruise line has also partnered with the Pelican Bay Resort, offering guests a third Cruise & Stay option to extend their travels by combining the cruise with a stay on Grand Bahama Island.

Summer Sail-A-Bration
To celebrate the relaunch of the ship, Margaritaville at Sea has launched a BOGO Summer Sail-A-Bration offer on its popular three-day/two-night cruises from Palm Beach, Florida to Freeport. Cruisers can book for as little as $169 per guest, with a second guest sailing free. The BOGO special is available for purchase through May 31, and is valid on sailings through December 31, 2023.
