The National Audubon Society has selected HX as its partner for 10 Audubon-themed voyages in the Galapagos, Antarctica, and Alaska.

HX’s Science & Educations team partnered with Audubon to curate the inaugural voyages, each of which features a trained ornithologist or team of local naturalist guides.

“At HX, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact on the environment,” said Dr. Verena Meraldi, HX’s chief scientist. “This partnership expands on our dedication to protecting the wildlife and habitats we explore, utilizing science, advocacy, education, and hands-on conservation.”

Kicking off the partnership, the first Audubon sailing will be an early Antarctica voyage departing on Oct. 20, 2024, spotlighting nine bird species. This will be followed by two more Antarctica sailings departing Nov. 6 and Dec. 14.

There will be five Galapagos sailings, departing between Oct. 2024 and Feb. 2025. Each sailing will focus on more than a dozen bird species, including the archipelago’s famous finches, boobies, and frigatebirds.

Finally, two Alaska sailings will also be on offer – July 7 and Sept. 8, 2025 – spotlighting some dozen bird species, including two albatross species.

HX will unveil additional Audubon Voyages for 2025, as well as a series of Audubon-hosted sailings. Audubon Voyages can only be booked by phone – 888-645-7424 – but are fully commissionable too advisors. Clients who are also Audubon members can save an extra 10% on Audubon Voyages with HX.
