Holland America Line is more than halfway through its rollout of SpaceX’s Starlink, with six of the cruise line’s 11 ships now fully equipped with the superfast Wi-Fi. The rest of the fleet is expected to have Starlink fully operational by mid-December 2023.

“Our goal is to continue keeping all guests connected to the Internet to share their memorable experiences, and to allow our team members to stay in touch with their loved ones back home,” said Kathleen Erickson, vice president of technology for Holland America Line.

Ships with Starlink now are: Koningsdam, Oosterdam, Volendam, Westerdam, Zaandam, and Zuiderdam.

Holland America is not the only Carnival Corp. brand with Starlink. The full Princess Cruises fleet is outfitted with Starlink, as are several Carnival Cruise Line ships. Cunard’s three ship-fleet will all have the service by the end of 2023, with Queen Anne launching with Starlink in May.
