G Adventures Introduces “Solo-ish” Tour Style for Solo Travelers

G Adventures has unveiled a new trip style exclusively for solo travelers: “Solo-ish Adventures.”

G Adventures is currently offering 13 Solo-ish Adventures across popular destinations like Costa Rica, India, Peru, South Africa, South Korea, Italy, Greece, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The land tours range from eight to 12 days, have light to average physical ratings, and are open to adults aged 18 years or older.

The Solo-ish land tour itineraries were designed for solo travelers. Safety is prioritized, and guests are given ample opportunities to meet and socialize with community members and other travelers – all while also enjoying “me time” to recharge and explore independently.

“We’ve seen a rise in the more mature traveler, who is no longer willing to wait for a partner, friends or family to book an adventure,” said Yves Marceau, vice president of product at G Adventures.

The Canada-based tour operator is well-versed in the growing solo travel trend: More than half of its guests globally have traveled alone. The Solo-ish Adventures were developed to address common concerns about traveling solo, such as loneliness and safety.

“The barrier to travel for a lot of solo people was the fear of being bored or alone, surrounded by other couples as a third wheel, or a general fear of traveling solo in a new and unfamiliar location,” said Marceau.

With this in mind, G Adventures offers female-only guides, complimentary arrival transfers,  and itineraries designed to drive connection among the group and communities being visited, including an opening day dinner party and hands-on culinary experiences.

The tour packages also offer 50% off single room for solo travelers (and no single supplement for those willing to share a room), and a “Me Day” granting solo travelers the freedom to explore on their own.

Solo-ish Adventures are available to travel on from March, 2025. For more information about the itineraries, please visit: http://www.gadventures.com/solo-ish.
