Aqua Expeditions will be expanding its fleet at the end of 2025, with a new ship sailing to the Seychelles and Zanzibar. Inaugural voyages are slated for Dec. 2025, with four itineraries ranging from five to 14 nights.

“It has always been a dream of mine to venture into East Africa and explore this part of the world on a luxury expedition ship,” said Francesco Galli Zugaro, CEO and founder of Aqua Expeditions. “I am excited to finally be able to showcase the beauty of the Indian Ocean and the famous Aldabra Atoll… Considered the Galapagos of Africa, this island group is home to hundreds of species of flora and fauna, and to some of the most amazing marine life in the world.”

Expeditions will range from five to nine nights, visiting Seychelles’ inner and outer islands. Select itineraries can be combined for a complete 14-night exploration of the Seychelles archipelago. These itineraries will rotate with comprehensive 10- and 11-night sailings to both Seychelles and the Tanzanian islands.

“At Aqua, we’ve always been inspired to visit destinations that are off the beaten track. It was inevitable that our journey would eventually bring us to African shores,” said Galli Zugaro.

As with Aqua’s other super-yacht, the new vessel will offer a 1-to-1 crew-to-guest ratio and small group guided excursions.
