Virgin Limited Edition has announced the addition of an award-winning luxury safari camp to its global portfolio.

As of July 1, 2024, Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp will become the ninth property within the Virgin Limited Edition collection and its second in Kenya. Located in the Tsavo National Park of Kenya, the family-owned property features 17 luxury tented suites, breathtaking views of wildlife, and more than 30 years of safari camp experience.

Finch Hattons Luxury Safari Camp combines luxury with adventure, providing guests with accommodations, meals, and drinks, as well as activities such as game drives, excursions to Africa’s only Shetani lava flow, nature hikes, yoga, and more.

“For more than five generations our family have had firm roots in Kenya and we are incredibly proud of our very special safari camp,” said Leena Gehlot, managing partner of Finch Hattons. “Bringing Finch Hattons into the portfolio of such a global brand is a huge leap forward for us and we are incredibly excited to showcase Finch Hattons to the wider world, together with Virgin Limited Edition.”

Virgin Hotels and Virgin Limited Edition combined to form Virgin Hotels Collection last year as part of the company’s overall expansion plans.

“This is a momentous occasion for Virgin Limited Edition and the whole of Virgin Hotels Collection as we welcome Finch Hattons to our family, remarked James Bermingham, CEO, Virgin Hotels Collection. “Growth is very much part of our plan for the entire collection over the coming years and this is just the start as we look to expand our guest choice across the globe.”
