Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled details about Celestial Park, part of its brand-new theme park, Epic Universe, which will open in 2025.

Celestial Park is one of five “worlds” within Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park, that will feature immersive attractions, dining experiences, shopping, and more. Each of the five themed areas of the park has an arched entrance resembling a portal, playing into Universal’s concept of entering the universes of pop culture’s most beloved stories and characters.

Mark Woodbury, CEO and chairman of Universal Destinations and Experiences, says in a video promo that Celestial Park is “where we put the ‘park’ back into ‘theme park.'”

“Celestial Park is a world in and of itself, where fans can come to seek the ultimate adventure,” added Brian Robinson, chief creative officer for Universal Creative.

Celestial Park: Attractions
Celestial Park is the first section of Epic Universe that guests will encounter. Lush gardens and tall water fountains that light up and dance to music will set the tone for the park’s atmosphere. The park will have a dual-launching roller coaster called Starfall Racers, as well as the Constellation Carousel, an astrological take on the traditional carousel, and Astronomica, an interactive wet-play area.

Celestial Park: Dining
The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant is the main dining option within Celestial Park, which will also feature The Oak & Star Tavern, a barbecue spot; Atlantic, a surf-and-turf eatery; Pizza Moon; and Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.

Celestial Park: Accommodations
Within Celestial Park will be the grand, 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which will have its own private entrance into the park. The hotel will keep to the astrological theme of its surroundings. The park will also feature several shops, including Nintendo Super Star Store.

Entering new worlds
After perusing Celestial Park, guests can pass through portals into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

In addition to Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Epic Universe will open beside two new hotels: Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort.

Universal Orlando Resort plans to reveal more details about each of the park’s “worlds” in the coming months.
