Sunwing Vacations has named Melissa Harley as business development manager for Central, Eastern, Northern Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

Harley stepped into the role of Sunwing BDM in November 2025. Reporting to Dave Wright, Director of Sales for Ontario and Atlantic Canada, she will help the sales team strengthen relationships with the travel advisor community in her territory.

The BDM posted on LinkedIn that she is “beyond privileged, honoured, [and] excited” about the new role.

Whitby-based Harley joins from TripArc, a travel technology company that offers a booking platform solution for the trade. She has more than a decade’s worth of industry experience, including time as a self-employed travel advisor.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Melissa Harley to our sales team,” said Wright. “Melisa brings a wealth of knowledge of the travel industry including many years as a retail travel agent. I’m thrilled to have Melissa join us.”
