Responding to strong sales, Scenic has unveiled its 2025 European river cruise season earlier than usual. The 2025 season features more eight- and 15-day departures, new itineraries, and new city extensions. Additionally, the line has simplified its site categories.

For 2025, Scenic has added two new itineraries, starting with an alteration of its popular eight-day Gems of the Danube itinerary, which wills sail between Regensburg and Budapest, allowing for more time in ports. Added to the route is a stop in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia.

The line’s 16-day Danube Delta Discovery has also been tweaked. In 2025, it will sail between Budapest and Bucharest, visiting six former behind-the-Iron-Curtain countries and offering four capital city overnights – Budapest, Bratislava, Belgrade, and Bucharest. Highlights include a small boat cruise through the 580,000-hectare wetlands of the Danube Delta, a private classical music concert at the Gödöllõ Royal Palace in Hungary, and a cooking class on making a traditional Bulgarian dish.

Scenic is also adding two new three-day city extensions to its 2025 offerings – Nuremburg and Munich (including options in October during Munich’s famous Oktoberfest).

For a limited time, clients who book a 2025 Scenic European river cruise can get two-for-one pricing, as well as free air for those who pay in full at least 12 months prior to departure.
