Quark Expeditions has appointed David Marathakis as director of sales for the Americas. At the same time, the cruise line also welcomed Randolph TenEyck as area sales director for the east.

“With a wealth of industry knowledge, David is set to play a key role in our pursuit of delivering world-class polar experiences,” said Beth Mercier, senior director of global partnership sales at Quark. “His appointment reflects our commitment to fostering strong relationships with our partners… We are excited to see the impact David will have in expanding our reach and delivering exceptional service to our partners and guests in the Americas.”

Marathakis brings more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry, having spent time at Contiki Holidays and other various roles at The Travel Corporation. He most recently served as the country manager for Canada at RateHawk, a hotel consolidator.

Joining Marathakis in Quark’s North American sales efforts is Randolph TenEyck as areas sales director focusing on the eastern U.S. He has previously held positions as business development manager for an all-inclusive resort company and an airline consolidator.
