Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa has opened on Bang-Lut Beach in Southern Thailand.

The resort is a 90-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and offers access to the region’s diving spots on offshore islands, nearby kayaking, and hiking at Khao Lak Lam Ru National Park.

“Southern Thailand continues to entice the world’s travelers with its enchanting blend of natural beauty, local culture, and heartfelt hospitality,” said Brad Edman, market vice president for Thailand, Cambodia & Myanmar at Marriott International. “[Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa] is creating a new option for families, couples and groups of friends or colleagues, complementing our portfolio of Marriott Bonvoy resorts in Khao Lak.”

Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa is an elegant, low-rise building with modern interiors that pay homage to the local area’s coastal heritage. The 283-key hotel offers guest rooms, suites, and villas with private balconies and naturally lit interiors. Many ground floor accommodations also have direct access to the lagoon pools.

The resort’s dining options include Goji Kitchen + Bar, an all-day marketplace; Thai Curry Sala, offering local cuisine; Lido Beach Restaurant & Lounge, serving Italian Mediterranean food; and Panasia Grill, the top-floor restaurant fire-grilling meat and seafood.

In addition, the resort features the Greatroom & Bar in the lobby and the Pool Bar. Guests can also access the resort’s Quan Spa, 24-hour fitness center, water playground and kids’ club, beachfront activities, and bike rides into town.

“With our prime beachfront location, breathtaking vistas, and world-class facilities for all ages, our resort sets the scene for unforgettable vacations and enriching experiences that connect travelers with the spirit of their destination,” said Debdyuti (Dev) Dasgupta, the resort’s general manager.

Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa is Marriott Hotel’s first Khao Lak property and third in Southern Thailand.
