With a little more than three weeks left in the year, Cunard is reporting its best-ever year for bookings.

From Jan. 1 to Oct. 31, 2024, Cunard recorded 73,000 additional guest reservations compared to the same period in 2023, a 23% year-over-year increase.

This marks the highest number of guests booked between those days that in any equivalent period on record, with bookings coming from both the North American (up 29%) and UK markets (up 24%).

The arrival of Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, in May was a key factor in the line’s growth, as was the early introduction of the line’s 2026 and winter 2027 deployments.

New-to-Cunard cruisers also represented a good portion of the new bookings. From Jan. 1 to Oct. 31, the line saw a 49% increase in first-time guests choosing to sail with Cunard compared to the same period in 2023.

“As we look ahead to 2025, we are proud to report record-breaking bookings that demonstrate the continued strength of Cunard’s commercial performance,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard. “The launch of Queen Anne has been a key driver of this success, increasing our capacity and capturing the imagination of both loyal and first-time guests. These results are a testament to the hard work of our teams and partners worldwide, who ensure Cunard remains at the forefront of luxury travel.”
