Cuban Culture, Sea Kayaking Highlight New Tour Lineup

Grand Circle Foundation Announces Cuba Programs
Three people-to-people programs to Cuba have been launched by the Grand Circle Foundation, including Cuba: Music, Culture & the Roots of the Revolution, a 13-day program priced from $4,395, including round trip air from Miami. Other programs include the 12-day, $3,995 Cuba: A Bridge Between Cultures and the nine-day, $2,995 Cuba: Havana & Vinales Valley.

Sea Kayaking in Brazil and Italy
Tofino Expeditions will offer a Brazil Sea Kayaking Tour that explores Costa Verde, Rio de Janeiro and Paraty. The tour departs in May and October, 2013, and is priced at $4,190 per person. Also available is the Kayaking Italy—Cinque Terre and Sardinia journey, departing in May and September for $4,495 per person.

Insight Expands Special Interest Tours
Featuring a variety of hobbies from art to gardening, Insight Vacations has planned several new special interest itineraries. These include the 19-day Paris to Barcelona – Splendors of France & Spain tour, priced from $5,071 per person, the 20-day Travel Forum Tour to Poland & Bohemia 2014, priced from $5,879 per person, and the 19-day Picture Perfect Italy itinerary, priced from $ 6,085 per person.

Foreign Independent Tours Sets New Packages
New packages to Turkey, India, Tanzania and Greece are available from Foreign Independent Tours. Agents earn 13% commission on the 10-day Exploration of Turkey tour, priced from $1,129 per person;  the seven-day Classic Greece package, priced from $1,169 per person;  and the six-day Beaches of Zanzibar tour, priced from $909 per person. Also available are the seven-day Athens and Jewels of the Aegean trip, from $1079 per person, and the 11-day Best of South Africa journey priced from $2,549 per person.

Zegrahm Heads Down the Irrawaddy
Zegrahm Expeditions is offering an intimate look at Myanmar on a brand-new itinerary. The Myanmar Revealed: Life Along the Irrawaddy River will take place Jan. 2-16, 2014, and is priced from $13,980 per person.

Travcoa Launches Exotic Getaways
The 11-day Australia’s Tropical Jewels: Sydney, Byron Bay & the Whitsundays is priced from $11,645 and takes guests on a private tour of Sydney, to a luxury spa resort in Byron Bay’s rainforest and a helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef. The 9-day Temples of Bali & Borobudur itinerary is priced from $5,695 per person, visiting resorts and forests across Bali. The 9-day Waterways of France by Luxury Barge journey heads from Besancon to Burgundy, priced from $9,145 per person.

New Train Trips From Vacations By Rail
New 2013 train tours from Vacations by Rail include 29 new North American train vacations ranging from three to 21 days. These include the 8-day Autumn in New England escorted tour, the 7-day Signs and Sounds rail vacation, the 11-day America’s Parks and Monuments with Mt. Rushmore escorted tour, the 7-day Churchill Town and Tundra Experience and the 10-day Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta journey.

Explore the Incan World
Sacred Earth Journeys, in collaboration with Inkarri Multicultural Association, will hold an 11-day Initiation in the Andes tour of Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley of the Incase from June 10-20, 2013. Tour leaders include Dona Maria Apaza, the only female High Master of Peru’s Q’ero people, and Don Sebastian Pauccar, an Andean priest.
