Club Med Cancún is under renovation to incorporate new wellness and family spaces in the all-inclusive resort.

A brand-new Sports & Wellness Island and an enhanced Family Oasis, which will include the new Baby Club Med, are all part of the improvements coming to the resort, which will remain open during the renovations.

The new wellness space, Sports & Wellness Island, will combine an active sports area and a relaxation space. It will feature a palapa for yoga classes with a lagoon view and facilities for archery, bocce ball, mini golf, and the Circus School by Club Med, as well as some multi-sports courts. Sports & Wellness Island is set to be completed by April 2024.

In addition, a new Family Oasis that incorporates children’s spaces will be built next to the existing Aguamarina family section, which features family suites, a dedicated pool, and a kid’s bar. As part of the Oasis, Club Med Cancún’s Kids Club will be relocating next to Aguamarina, making this a new convenient location for families to spend time together amid Mexican- and Mayan-inspired architecture.

Family Oasis will also include the new Baby Club Med, where families can drop off their young children – ages 4 months to 23 months – to be cared for by trained professionals. Baby Club Med will host music workshops, nature walks, painting activities, and daily family activities such as cooking classes, pool parties and snack time.

The new family area will also include new play facilities, including a themed splash park, water park, mini pool and playground, fun zone, and mini cinema. The family additions and improvements are slated to be complete by December 2024.
