American Marketing Group (AMG), the parent company of TRAVELSAVERS and NEST, has named Diana Hnatov the new director, sales and services for its education program KORE.

Hnatov is a veteran in the professional development space, with 35 years of experience in project management, strategic development and business enhancement. She joins AMG from Learning Tree International, where she was responsible for managing and developing new training products and programs. She also has experience in the hotel industry, having worked as a sales manager for Hilton.

In her new role with AMG, Hnatov will oversee KORE’s sales and marketing. She’s based in out of New York, and reports to vice president Melissa Wright. Hnatov stepped into the new role in June.

“I’ve spent my career in both hospitality and training and am delighted to combine both fields in this new role. KORE offers such a unique approach to training people to be both successful advisors and business owners. I’m looking forward to continuing to evolve the program to stay ahead of the challenges advisors will face in today’s travel industry,” she told TMR.

AMG also recently upped Clare Burke in Canada to director, education and training. These two new directors will work towards expanding the KORE program to a wider audience, bolstering the travel advisor industry in the process.

AMG launched the KORE program in 2021 to fill the gap in travel advisor training. The 16-module curriculum is delivered 100% online, and covers topics such as basic financials, world geography, customer service, social media, understanding travel insurance, and more.
