AmaWaterways is opening bookings for its 2022 season six months ahead of schedule because of an increased demand in sailings, it said on Monday.

The river cruise line’s sailings in France, Portugal, Holland and itineraries on the Rhine and Moselle rivers are now open for reservations, while the rest of its 2022 season will open on May 22.

“We are excited to open our 2022 bookings six months earlier than originally anticipated, given the heightened demand from individuals and special interest groups for sailings in 2021 and beyond,” said Rudi Schreiner, president and co-founder of AmaWaterways.

“I anticipate 2022 will emerge as a very strong travel season and look forward to welcoming our guests onboard.”

AmaWaterways is offering a discount of 5% on balcony staterooms and suites and up to $1,500 savings per stateroom on select departures for bookings made by June 30 and another 5% early booking discount for all bookings made by Sept. 20, 2020.

Travel advisors wanting to learn more about AmaWaterways’ 2022 season can join its upcoming Webinar Wednesdays session on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:30 a.m. PST (1:30 p.m. EST). This week’s will be led by Karst and fellow AmaWaterways’ Co-Owner Gary Murphy, as well as Vice President of Sales Alex Pinelo and Vice President of Operations Jon Burrows.
