Abercrombie & Kent is building a new Nile riverboat, its fifth in Egypt, with an anticipated launch date in late 2025.

According to the high-end tour company, the design of the 32-cabin boat will draw on four decades of Nile cruising expertise and will feature “all the facilities and services of a high-end floating hotel.” It will offer two restaurants – indoor and outdoor – along with a spa, gym, swimming pool, and sundeck. All cabins will have floor-to-ceiling windows, Juliet balconies above the water, marble bathrooms, and 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets.

Two Presidential suites will be “unprecedented in size,” and will each feature an outdoor hot tub on private balconies.

The name of the riverboat, which is currently under construction at the Massara Shipyard in Egypt, will be revealed in the coming months.

A&K already operates four river boats on the Nile: the Nile Adventurer, Sun Boat III, Sun Boat IV, and Zein Nile Chateau.

“We pioneered luxury Nile cruises more than four decades ago, and every year we continue to further elevate this enchanting voyage, with extraordinary experiences at every stage of the journey, accompanied by Egyptologists and storytellers to bring Egypt’s luminous history to life,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group.
