More than 200 Aer Lingus flights have been canceled amid pilot strikes by the Irish Air Line Pilots’ Association (IALPA) this week.

A work-to-rule industrial action on June 26 and a strike on June 29 from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. have caused cancelations of 270 flights from June 26 through July 2. This includes the canceling of daily Aer Lingus flights between Dublin (DUB) and New York (JFK).

“If your flight has been cancelled, we’ll contact you directly via email, SMS or through your travel agent to advise you of all the options available to you,” Aer Lingus wrote in a statement to customers. “We are currently experiencing a large volume of calls to our contact centres and waiting times are longer than usual.”

It is estimated that at least 20,000 passengers will be affected by the disruptions.

Ireland’s Labor Court on Tuesday decided it would not intervene in the negotiations, which have been ongoing for about 22 months, and there are no discussions scheduled yet, according to the IALPA.

The flight cancelations come as Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour has three nights in Dublin this week, from June 28 to June 30. International concert ticketholders originally flying Aer Lingus had to adjust travel schedules after their flights were canceled, according to the Irish news outlet The Journal.
